Lori received a bachelor’s degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Georgia in 1985 and a Certificate with Honors from The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia in 1986. 

She obtained certification as a Certified Paralegal with The National Association of Legal Assistants by successfully completing a national examination, and she is also certified by the North Carolina State Bar. 

Lori is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and has served as the Education Chair, Vice Chair, and Chair of their Legal Assistant’s Division. 

Lori has worked with Jim Maxwell in the area of civil litigation for 20 years.
